Invocation
Lord of Fire
Silver tongued devil
Hela's Sire
Come to me
Stealer of Brisingamen
Bestower of gifts
Bringer of World's End
Teach me
Mother of Sleipnir, Mother of Witches
Lover of Goddesses
Robber of riches
Touch me
Truth sayer, otter slayer
Blood Brother to
the Lord of the Aesir
Laugh with me
Folly of Hod
Slayer of Baldr
Bane of the Gods
Show me
Father of the Snake
Father of the Wolf
Father of Sigyn's sons
Play with me
Hated by Gods
Hated by men
Loved by few
Who are with
You to the end
Be with me
Lord of lies, Lord of fun
I raise a glass
in praise of Laufey's Son
Come to me
I see You
I see You in the beginning
Born of wood and fire
Raised in flame, raised in war
Your path a lonely one, yet not alone
I see You when You were young
Cutting Your wrist, Your blood flowing
Mingling itself with that of the Allfather
Now of two worlds, belonging to neither
I see You fall in love
Wedding Your child Bride
Who joins the Hag, and countless others
In being a tribe of Your heart
I see You howl in rage
As Your children are torn
From Their Mother's arms
By those whom You called kin
I see You embody nature's rage
As the Bright One's Dam defies it
As You plot, and as You murder
To set things to right
I see You chained in the cave
You writhing in agony on the frigid stone
With faithful Sigyn at Your side
And hope the laughter remains in the world
I see You approach, arrayed in scarlet
Grinning at me with mischief and love
sparkling in Your eyes
Quivering, I welcome Your embrace
I see You enjoying the good things in life
Despite all You have suffered
Your capacity for forgiveness, and Your biting way
Of reminding Them that They owe You overwhelming all
I see You in my life always
Though You continue to invoke my anger and humiliation
Yet my love is ever so strong
And shall never die
I see Your eyes, laughing and full of sorrow
Your touch burns yet soothes
My tired soul, even as I am destroyed
As I am reborn from Your fire
I see You all around me
As Your very presence engulfs me
Swallows me, consumes me fully
Makes me feel ecstasy I have never known
I see You, all of You
The playful Trickster, the suffering prisoner
The cold-blooded killer, and I welcome You
With open arms, in a love so complete
